Theatre Arts

During the course of the week, campers will learn the basic framework and fundamentals of successful acting, developed by David Atkins through a lifetime of experience as an actor and director.

Campers can expect:

30 hours of acting instructions and focus on very specific acting skills (the 10 fundamentals of acting) an exploration in character development through scene work, monologues, improvisation, acting games and much more . Campers will look at what it means to be funny and the different forms of comedy. Campers will improve on various acting skills; confidence, character building, voice volume, stage presence and how to transfer these skills into various aspects of life. Campers will take part in a performance in front of the entire camp at the end of the week.
