The Proven Leader in Basketball / Personal Development Program

Olympia, Ontario Basketball and Canada Basketball are introducing a unique opportunity for basketball players across Canada.

The global “Big Man” is a player that can dominate the boards and outlet the ball, score with proficiency on the post or from the perimeter, help manage the ball in the press break or in transition (catch, pass and dribble), runs the court, and has the mobility to reek havoc in help and recover defensive situations.

Olympia in association with Ontario Basketball and Canada Basketball has developed a special curriculum to help in the development of the global Tall Lady /Big Man at the most critical period of their development.

The Camp will feature some of the top coaching personalities in North America.

Why We Are Different

The developing Big Man is often ‘late’ in skill and athletic development. We provide a nurturing environment where – following curriculum developed by Canada Basketball – we bring everything back to the basics and build or ‘load’ once these basic skills are mastered (We will use video extensively for self-analysis and ‘best practice’).

The global ‘big’ needs to be able to see and manage the court from all angles. That only happens when they play the game from all positions. In all of our game situations, all players will be expected to play all positions.
