Lifeguard Certification (NLS) Camp

Take your lifesaving skills to the next level and become a certified lifeguard.
- Over 30 hours of instructional/skill development with emphasis on lifeguarding principles, the prevention of accidents and the treatment of medical emergencies
- All certifications are approved by the Canadian Lifeguarding Society

PREREQUISITES: Minimum age 16 years by last day of course, Bronze Cross and current Standard First Aid Certificate dated no more than two years from the certification date and certified by one of the partner agencies listed below.
The Lifesaving Society only accepts Standard First Aid Certificates that are recognized by the Ontario Public Pools Regulation. The accepted agencies are the Lifesaving Society, Canadian Red Cross, St. John’s Ambulance, and Canadian Ski Patrol.
