Glee Camp
An opportunity for campers to explore, develop and improve their theatrical performing arts skills.
Do you love the show Glee? Would you like to learn how to sing, dance and act? Do you wish you could be a part of a musical? Well here's your opportunity!
During the course of a week campers will collaborate with their fellow campers and instructors, working together to construct, develop and perform an original piece of musical theatre.
What campers can expect:
- 30 hours of theatrical development instruction
- Learning several performing arts skills such as: acting methods, voice training, choreographed musical theatre dance, line memorization, improvisation development, scene structure, and overall musical theatre techniques
- A focus on forming friendships and confidence within a social setting
- An experience for campers to take home to their family, friends, and schools
- A camp experience that will encourage the youth to form or take part in their own glee clubs and performing arts programs at school
- Campers will improve their 'triple threat' abilities, while coming together as a group to create and perform their own theatrical piece of work
