Information for Teachers
Olympia offers a number of programs which include outdoor education, challenge education, and sports. The number and type of activities are selected based on objectives and goals of the trip, length of trip and seasonal availability.
When planning the activities for each group’s trip we look at the purpose and goals of the trip. Schools choose Olympia Outdoor and Challenge Education Centre for a variety of reasons including year end trips, leadership development, grade nine student orientations, and providing hands on experience to compliment classroom curriculum.
We also offer an information night for the benefit of the parents and the students. We would be pleased to come to your school and give a presentation. Teacher guides are provided to all schools who are interested in a trip to Olympia. It is a user friendly manual which will help you prepare your class trip.
